Story:
The movie China Town portrays the story of love and friendship of three friends who were in the various fields of life. The sons of three friends who were parted twenty years ago are joining together for a particular aim.China Town is a story of two generations too. The sons of first generation are Mohanlal, Dileep and Jayaram. Their fathers were very sincere friends before 20 years ago. But their sons are parted in different ways. Later they combines together to execute an aiml after 20 years. Malyalam actor- director Sankar, old actor Jose and Mohanlal are playing the characters of old sincere friends in first generation. Mohanlal is handling two roles again as father and son after Ravana Prabhu and Utayon.

It's all subjective. If you have heard first the Kannada version (and if you can follow Kannada), that sounds better. Shreya Ghoshal has sung it really well. And If you are a Mallu, you prefer the Malayalam version. Pravasis like us like both. Recently, at a programme in East Cultural Association, Bangalore, the singers mixed both versions and it was great !
