Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, Joseph Swan, and a number of other people all contributed to today's modern marvels (and indirectly to today's global warming and carbon wastage, but that's a side matter). While I'm a New Jersey guy and thus favor Edison, I don't mind listing the others as contributors to progress in their own right.

@breakfreeization You can't neglect all of sir Edison's contributions and good deeds because of that. We're all human beings. We all have some bad qualities and prejudicies and we always make mistakes. Even the great Gauss made mistakes when he declared certain methods to be worthless, now his criticiism notwhithstanding, those method are so widely used for solving many kinds of problems! This doesn't subtract anything from his legacy.

what this guy said is ; he likes this video very much , and the life of Thoma A. Edison is to be admire , the old man was 70 years old arrived at his own bussines and punched a card like averyone esle , some people said he didin't need to to do that , and this man thimk that he needs to do it beacause he colud not acomplish everything he whanted
