www.mainewebnews.com Legislative committee hears testimony in regards to Banning BPA. UPDATE: Committee votes in favor of the ban. LePage administration may not oppose the ban.
It is my understanding that after this testimony, the committee endorsed the ban and Governor LePage has said he will not oppose it. Seems like the process worked. Well done to both sides on handling this issue.
@dale3858 Anyone who thinks Paul LePage is a fanatic is obviously a supporter of the status quo, which in itself is fanatical, considering the lack of logic in it.
The government should have only two jobs: defense (not to be confused with offense) and general welfare (not to be confused with social welfare programs). This issue falls under general welfare, so there really shouldn't be any opposition if the evidence is as strong as these people claim.

The way I see it. This is a job for consumer advocacy groups, not government.

@dale3858 Typical irrational argument. He doesn't want to BAN it so he must WANT it. What is it with you people? Do you ever stop think?
