hey u mastertaiji!!! U are also wrong in saying they arenot distracted by any music or noises when doing taiji by experienced masters.Traditionally, they don't used music at all to guide them through their movements("thong choh").Ok is this enough to tell you of yur comments !

You are wrong!!! Experienced Taiji Master play taiji will not be distracted by the music or any kind of sounds from surrounding, they played taiji with extreme concentration in their mind. This is called in Chinese "忘我境界", and purely taiji with or without music is OK to them!

mastertaiji- you are absolutely wrong.Not all kinds of music , be it chinese folk instrumental or whatwever are suitable for any taiji style.Try putting the any version of The Butterfly Lovers(LiangHu) for the Chen56 and see if it a distaster!!!!.So if u are not a kind that knows music....the tempo , the beat , etc., don't say doing taiji or practices can go with any kind of music.Experienced taiji masters in China or anywhere don't or never play music to go along with their performing taichi.

BTW, if you are good in Taiji, you can play Taiji in any kind of music!!

Hei!!! You knew nothing! This is YangStyle 56Sword NOT ChenStyle!!! The motion for them is correct, YangStyle is a bit slow than other styles, the total time spent was about 4min.40sec. (minus off waiting time), considered a bit fast. Player explained they are new, so for group performance, you have to co-operate with each other, and give up your own style & skill, just to let the newbies to catch up. As for the music, slow music for slow style, isn't it match?

This is Yang style sword, not Chen style.
We are just beginning learner and knew that our performance no good, poor skill and too nervous, will try to improve more.
