This includes computers, cell phones, etc. Anyhow, hippies have contributed world peace, a burst in the music industry, the hindering of war, disruption of communism, and the disruption of American politics. Too bad they couldn't stop birthing such ignorance that you have. You come here to bash on an amazing song. Get a life. And without these "hippies", all music today would be shit.

@ultragemini Oh right, since Nazi's really succeeded in creating a perfect race (the pure Aryans turned out to be less intelligent then the average German). Their attempts towards world conquest and war were thwarted. They have accomplished nothing. Only things punks have done is challenge corrupt social institutions and make people think about the government. Goths and Trashers don't do much except serve as an example of social independance.

I suppose most of what you said about the Nazis is true, but where would you draw the line? You are not promoting achievement/development at any cost (over the bodies and lives of those who do not think like you) or for destructive purposes are you? The Nazis also contributed to the idea that "others" are to be feared, hated, treated as sub-human and killed! I hope that there is room for pluralism in this world. Whatever the hippies ended up as, they began with the wish to make love not war.
