Charles Taze Russell was part of a small religious group that later broke out to start the JW cult because he "conscientiously" didnt agree with THEIR beliefs. I think that can sum up the problem with JW's and other organizations....they cant ACCEPT ANYONE to exercise THEIR personal freedom of conscious and at the same time be called JW. It makes sense in a way. But that contradicts them because they say they go by the bible when in reality they follow traditions of a religion not god.

This video really touched me...all my years as a jehovahs witness child ... I just believed what my mother had told me... I totally disregarded that the religion may be wrong... I just believed what my mom said... makes me think if I ever needed a blood transfusion... my mother wouldn't have gotten it for me...I'd just be laying in the ground dead... not in paradise ....that makes me so sad that my mom can't open her mind and stop trusting books from the JW organization...FUCKING THINK MOM!

I had a friend try suicide also. He ended up in the psyche ward afterward. In his words the reaction of the congregation was abandonment, except for the CO.
Even years later he is still marginalized. I've tried talking to him since and he still defends the WT for what it did to him, and recently he has cut off my association with him.
