The Editor --Short film

Bob is an editor struggling to finish a movie he's working on. He becomes obsessed with his work and finds himself getting sucked into the film. By default he becomes the main character in the film and "inherits" the original main character's girlfriend and problems. The initial main character hunts Bob down to reclaim the lead in the film while Bob struggles to break out of the film world and return back to reality.

We did this for a class assignment but I don't consider a "student film" since the class is over and I'm gonna make it a little longer. So, expect a longer "non-rushed" cut by the end of the month month if you liked watching this version

Thank you for the comment but I just wanted to depict how editing feels. Of course you have a story but when you're editing you're rewriting the story and sometimes what you have does not make sense in a structure. Since editing is a visual medium you look at the same footage for 10-12 hours a day and then you can easily start dreaming about your characters.

You must have seen John Candy's Delirious! This is like the editor version of Candy's writer. Not that I'm complaining - funny, fast-paced, well-acted and edited. Good stuff!
