WOOOOW . Awesome man

Bullshit! You hired Jesus to stand on the water for 15 seconds with a video camera.

Very realistic lighting and movement, a fine setup.

I luv you.
I've been struggling with Frigg'n Pyrocluster for the longest time. I shall look into to this! Thanks ^-^

Hey Buddy, your effect worked really nicely, but I imagine your render times took a few hours still?...I tried to use the adaptive degradation at very low settings and keep the render quality also..but because at the moment I am "learning" not doing any thing serious, I decided to try and learn other ways to create a similar effect...am finding it hard to mix particle effects with reactor on water...it didn't go to plan in the vid I just posted..its a challenge..

@Digiartmandotcom Yes, it took at least a few hours of rendering... Are you trying to get the particles to react to the surface of the water with the firework fountain? Dreamscape has a built in reactor type ability but, I cant remember if it works with particles, I used it for the shark swim on the surface video I uploaded, but that was water reacting to an animated object. And right now I am using a program called Realflow that simulates splashes from objects and particles very well.

Hey there, nice video!, am a bit confused as to why you used VUE since 3ds max and dreamscape already give a real look...is the sky real and you super imposed the water?.....in terms of render time would it be possible to let us know how long it took and the CPU you use? cause it take me probably a day or two render 100 frames with dreamscape so am now trying to use reactor/warp maps instead..cheers! nice job! :)

@Digiartmandotcom Well, I used Vue to make that sky and dreamscape to make the ocean, then composited the two together. Vue makes some very realistic skies and for me they rendered faster than the dreamscape skies. In dreamscape do you use adaptive mesh with a camera? and set degradation to 2 or 3? Those settings can save alot of memory at render time. My computer is at lease a Quad Core 233 GHz with 8 gigs of ram, I say that because I have other computers that are a little faster also.

Well done! Did you use Pyrocluster for your clouds? if not, what method did you use? ive been searching forever on a decent cloud method for Max. Thanks!

@VengeStudios I used Vue Xstream for the sky and clouds, It is a stand alone software package as well as a plugin that works inside of Max. Thanks.
