Merry Christmas. Here's your present from me.

First aired: April 26, 1973.

P.S. I will NOT be taking requests for full episodes. I may post more full episodes IF AND ONLY IF I do not get any requests for them, and if I do not get a bunch of comments asking "how'd you do that?"

  • Around the very superstitious song the video's having volume problems

  • @dorourke105 That's a problem with the original VHS recording. It's the reason why I never posted Superstitious to YouTube in 2006, and I almost didn't post this full episode either because of it.

  • Who was the woman playing guitar?

  • @MrCarl220 That's Kate, played by folk singer Malvina Reynolds, best known for writing the song "Little Boxes".

  • 40:32 - 47:19 - Not too shabby for a kids show - no wonder my generation grew up to be so cool! :D

  • Nanto this is the best ever that you have done. Thank you for bringing back a wonderful point in my childhood life.

  • @MrPurrfect68 amen - same here - thanks man.

And I'm watching them now with my children - which is waaaay cool.

  • This mark my first time I watch the earlier episodes of Sesame Street, Never seen them before.

  • This episode of Sesame Street was brought to you by "Far Out" and "Solid". Such a mindbender. Sock it to me.

  • OH MY GOSH. THE YEAR MY MOM WAS BORN, LOL

  • A great show so much better than kids shows today its fun for adults to great sketches and characters brings back many memories.

  • Just been watching this episode with my two year old...it puts the majority of modern children's TV to shame. She was transfixed by the sketches they are are promoting development not nonsense (In the midnight garden take note) and when Stevie came on she started to dance. Also love the way Stevie and the band just get into a hard core jam session.
