Dale Purinton is the poster boy for a pussy. Wanted no part of Cairns, that's why he turtled. He saw Cairns bitchslap McCarthy in Dec '01 and said eff that.
...and I remember Mess throwing sucker punches and bullying rookies. He's not by any means the honorable guy that, say, Shanny is. Mess also doesn't like it when he's hit, even cleanly.

@buttkick22 i meant domi insteatd of peters. yes peters beat him. luck happens ina fight cairns beat brashear twice and was a top5 fighters in his isle stint EASY with brasher laraque for sure. simon was weak in early 2000s. are yuo saying cairns is a bad fighter or average? that would make me laugh!

@buttkick22 mcgratton draw kruse narrow cairns unless we talk about another fight but i doubtit . peters lost to cairns 2 boutsm, draw and have won one. domi? cairns connected way better and put domi down 2 wins for cairns here. godard peters did beat carns. actually you forgot the 2 most tko losses to cairns. thorton and berube beat clearly cairns.... nonetheless cairns was a king back in his time in isle. a true leader among heavyweight neil. probert also edged him. closely
