DIY: Homemade Burning MiniMag Lasers

These three MiniMag lasers all run off of 2AA batts. The red and violet lasers use the standard krypton maglite while the green uses the updated led versions becaus of its added length needed by the green module. All three lasers use modified tail cap switches and proper drivers for the diodes.

Red - 350mA AMC7135
Violet - 125mA Flexdrive
Green - Uses preset driver

Of off deal extreme which driver did you get( AMC7135 ) And im new to lasers so using this driver is only suitable for red lasers correct?

Yes, it is the AMC 7135 rated for 350mA.

Yes, it won't provide the voltage for violet laser diodes, its best for red laser diodes.

I filmed this shortly after completeing the green laser, the other two were made in the weeks prior, so there was still smoke residual smoke in the air from that that helped bring out the beams a bit.

Impressive. I am making the red laser one as soon as my parts come in the mail. Please tell me what you used and what you did that was different from the Kipkay version. It's difficult finding the right info on the laser pointer forum site. Thank you.

Hi I have a minimag flashlite and a axiz laser housing and a DVD burner diode and was wondering if I could replace the diode in the housing or if I would need a driver board and which one I would need if I do need a driver board could you please tell me which one I would need and how to wire it up? Thanks:)
