"Manha de Carnaval" (Theme from Black Orpheus) Performed by The Unitic Band of Unity Mills River NC. David de la Rosa (guitar), Lytingale Lois Henrickson (piano,vocals), Joel Pressman (bass), Pete Latrella (drums) with special guest Ruben Orengo (violin). In honor of Mardi Gras and festivals worldwide! The song was written in 1958 by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luis Bonfa, for the film "Black Orpheus" (Orfeu Negro) in a new style called bossa nova.
