The words are 'gentler' from the Christian side, granted, but thats essentially a linguistic difference, mainly between the English & Arabic languages... the rhettorick is the same when you study it properly; Read Christopher Hitchens,' god is not great!' for an overview. @ianww8 DUH! Christian fanatics were tamed by science and knowledge. The modern concepts of secular govt arose from the Reformation and the Renaissance (which ironically, Islam contributed to back when it was a great theology). Science and knowledge fueled both these events. Martin Luther's ideas would have been useless absent the prinitng press. If you can't see the difference between modern Islam and modern Christianity, you are a sad case study in liberal American education. Good luck.

@ianww8 May I respectfully suggest that if you are going to boast of your knowledge, you might want to learn how to spell and at least have a clue regarding grammar? I am unaware of any major theology taking a position on global warming. The topic is Islamic extremism, and if you are attempting to proffer the position that Islam has no more extremists per capita than any major faith, you are either woefully ignorant or deliberately lying.
