a work in progress.........Opening scene translated from simplified Chinese to English is hard to read, this is what is said.

"When Geoffrey Chaucer wrote The Canterbury Tales, I wonder if he knew the profound impact his literature would leave for scholars to understand and study the people of his time.

And, much like Chaucer's tales, we have story of a commoner on his pilgrimage to a distant, far land. For this particular story finds itself in the hands of an American, a child of the digital era, one of the information generations, looking from outside to within. More than at any point in human history, are the interests of nations and peoples are shared. "
