  • You spell it "Crysis" btw and do use drones - a good way to use them is to keep them in reserve, then deep strike them in once the enemy have move forward. Then you can get em in a cross fire!

  • thats a really good idea!

  • You deployed the necrons wrong. You need to bulk them up onto a corner (about 12" x 12") and force the enemy towards you from one general direction. This also allows you to make the most of the res orb. The saves by your jetbike moving infantry aren't invulnerable or even a 3+ save. It is a 4+ cover save if you move them more then 12" away from your starting point. You can't say they moved 8" forward and 5" backwards to claim this though. That would only count as 3" forward.

  • @UseMacs Sorry but I disagree. Necrons can handle them self unit to unit especially against Tau there is no reason to concentrate deployment. think about it... that would mean I would have to get the second turn and all the tau would need to do is shot and move back and I would never be in range. that would give them the hole range of the board to shot and move away!

  • lol, wrong? there is no 'wrong' deployment. Just depends on how you are going to play from the way you deploy it.

  • yeah your right. theres a thousand ways to set up. I've found so many "right" ways to put necs on the board. It just has't to go with your stratedy

  • With tau it is usually better to build a more mechanized army. A lot of the battle suits have the deep strike ability and hammerheads pack a serious punch against both troops and tanks. Broadsides are enough to put a dent in any armored division and pirahnas with fusion blasters are NOT something you want to be up against. Troops, although they are a requirement, should be at a minimum do to the fact that they die WAY to easily. Battle suits=win. Just sayin.

  • Although the other guy has a beautiful voice, Spencer presents much better. Nice vid!

  • what is AP?

  • basic necron tactics right here: have 2 monoliths, the deceiver so you can redeploy, and 3 squads of REGULAR destroyers. you should have a squad of 20 warriors and a teleport/resorb lord for teleporting everywhare.

  • well if a tau player is a tau player he'll be static... so destroyer lord can basically move quickly to them and then u pop the nightmare shroud anything tau unit (not vehicles) within 12" of the lord takes a ld test like they have taken 25% casualties... most tau have ld 7... perfect example of this i won against tau (with necrons) in the second turn lol unlucky rolls by my tau opponent, but always fun

  • Often, successful Tau gameplay includes adept skirmishing.

  • Im putting my money on the tau

  • Good vid, fellas!

  • @SPARTANMST , my friend runs every battlesuit team with 3 guys, all have i believe 2 drones. he uses them as meatsacks.
