I moved to Columbia MD from Australia. Columbia is one of the nicest parts of the USA, with so many friendly folks willing to welcome us into their lives. I travelled to 27 states whilst working for a local Columbia company, and so I saw a lot of the US foreigners rarely see, like Pittsburgh North in deepest winter. I was always glad to come home. Be glad of what you have - enjoy the burrito whilst you're here.

I know exactly what shorty is talking about I live out Columbia, md one of the most boring place on earth. A place full of clowns,s fakes, flakes, sluts, wannabe gangstas, and so on. But she is right people out here are dumb as hell straight up stupid shit goes on a daily out here. I'm from chicago and I've never seen so much dumbassness in one town.

@jj000652453 Actualy the average yearly inome for someone lives in columbia is 121,000 a year. Columbia is richer than 95 percent of all towns in america.

All the situations you described had nothing to do with nievity. To me it seemed as though you should be appreciative that those people saw you and assumed you to be a kind and trustworthy person. Also what is the problem with living around rich people? Does being rich make you stupid? To be rich, if anything, means that you work hard like everyone else to make a living and support yourself and your family. You live in a very nice area, you should be thankful.
