I've got Gary's book! I always thought it was Kurtis until I read that and it says "Cutest" in my edition.

I've got 2 versions of the book: hard cover and paperback. On both it's written Kurtis Rush.

I checked as well both books at my local library and it's written Kurtis Rush. I don't really know why on yours it's written Cutest.

Ah, that's cos it's not him singing. According to his book they already had a vocal they were happy with so clearly they just wanted him for his outstanding beauty... like Pheobe and Smelly Cat innit. lol

I'm surprised Barry Woolley hasn't tried selling Gary's original dodgy contract on ebay - he's so intent on milking every penny he can from their brief association. Incedible to think they were happy with this vocal, rather than getting Gary to actually sing it ,100 times better as he would have. Ironic too, that the one that supposedly no one fancied (although many of us always did) was first wanted for his looks rather than his voice.

@uclhhca Yes thats Dawn, and proberly the first time they met. He was 17 and she was 18. But they first started dating at Take Thats last tour before the split. Very romantic :-)

But in the reproduction of their first album "Take That & Party" witch came out in 2006 (the reproduction) it says that Mark, Gary and Robbie formed a band called The Cutest Rush, and because it didn't went well, the signed Howard and Jason and became TT. Is that true? What does Gary say about that in his book?

@J1G2M3 I've heard that the singer is a chap from Derby that writes and performs his own stuff, but actually recorded this cover version under the name Kurtis Rush.
