Final Battle against the Dark Lord, Zoma in Dragon Quest III. This is originally a kick ass remake of Dragon Warrior III that never came to North America. But the Japanese ROM has been recently translated into English by a group of people from dqtranslations. Keep in mind that this Fan Translation is not official and it's a basic release with some finer details still being worked out, it's still rather new and does need some tweaking. Oh yeah, I won't supply the ROM either. You gotta find that yourself if you're interested. I also have the final battle and ending of the NES version in my uploaded videos as well. Lastly I'd like to give my thanks to the team who finally translated this, I've been waiting a long time for a decent translation and it's about time. My sincere thanks goes out to DaMarsMan and his team.

  • Hey, artificialraven, what game is that soundbit during the first 10 seconds of this video taken from. i thought it might be from super mario rpg. cant figure it out though

  • You're right it's from super mario rpg. It's a remix of the forest maze song.

  • Man, you play through a lot of kickass games. I've been playing this and I'm currently using this video as help with Zoma myself!

    He's kickin' my ass...

  • As a word of advice, it's much easier if you have 2 high level Sages lol. I only had 1 in my party for this video and I barely made it.

  • @IIXohmII (Continued)

    This Game Reminds Me Of Being Like 7 Years Old When It First Came Out;

    I Stood In Line With All Kinds Of Friends To Buy This Game, And When I Played It,

    I Knew I Was In Love; The Games Storyline And Detail Oriented Character Platform Is Amazing :D

    So Anyway, Yea; Dragon Quest(Warrior) 3 Forever

  • @neobogard Definitively Dragon Quest 3 SNES/NES - - - Dragon Warrior 3 GBA - - - Is The Best Dragon Quest(Warrior) Game Of Them All, Trust Me I Have And Still Am Playing All Of The Dragon Quest Series Games; I Know What I'm Talking About.

  • Dude You Are A Dumbass Fool;

    You Can Cast Heal All On Zoma When He's In Darkform, It Does Epic Damage.

    Damage Him With The Light Dog; Fite Him Good, Long And Hard.

    Indeed...

  • URGH zoma ... I love this game as I grew up with the original DW1 on NES ... and this game made me smile at the end since if you played DW1 this game has a surprise ending ;) ..

    First time I played this was on the GBA version and Zoma killed me a good 10 times before I was able to bring this brute down second time was the original NES and it went alot more smooth ..... cept the baramos battle >_< in this version I whomped him little did I know the secret dungeon was 10x worse

  • @Artificialraven what dragon quest game would you say is the best one?

  • is there a english version of dragon quest III? a can only find japanes version

  • I just finished this game, and it was really fun while it lasted! Zoma was too easy though, I wish he lasted longer.

    Now to finish Dragon Quest V!

  • One of the reasons you were having so much trouble is that you didn't use the "parry/fight" trick.

  • @burstfiredragon I know, right? My brother is 11 and he is absorbed into Black Ops on Wii. He desperately wants a PS3 just for MW3. I try to get him to play RPGs and other great game varieties, but he hates them for having "too many words". What happened to "Oh, this game has a great storyline!"? Now, it's "Man, this game has amazing graphics and is a shooter!"
