I recently repaired this radio and this video shows it working after an untold amount of years.

For a power supply I use an ARBE III (www.arbeiii.com). The voltages are typical for these 1920's sets using 01a tubes. A=6 V, B=22 V and 90 V, and C=4.5 V.

  • I have some spare parts that I intend to make into a homebrew TRF someday. I will post that when I finish it.

  • Beautiful old radio! Right now, I am listening to a late 1925 or 1926 vintage homebrew 3-tube regenerative, but it has only one tuning knob. I am only getting two local stations right now. I bet the Crosley gets better DX reception, but I haven't tried mine with an outdoor antenna yet, either. Good job on the restoration!

  • That is a gorgeous radio!

  • Nice video. Well done! What did you use for a power supply? What voltage configuration? Thanks.
