This is "Shades" by Christopher Hülsbeck, a tune for the Commodore 64s Soundchip "SID" released in the German magazine "64'er" in 1986. Played on a real PAL C64 (old version), using a MOS6581 SID chip, recorded via a TV card.
Oh, my God, how can he be soooooo good? I was always intrigued by Chris' skills. He is a genious. It's really impressive what he can do in every platform he composes for. Even a Genesis.
Final Post. I was under the impression that the original author was TMC (The Mercenary Cracker) or to me As Charles Deenen. Did he not write this for the shades demo which was for the NEWLOOK group.
I will never understand why people used to use $d020 or $d021 with $d012 to show the amount of raster time it took up. Why not have it on a simple text line. lol.
Oh, this brings back memories. Makes me realize I'm get'n old :-)
