anyone know how to open the battery? I removed all the screw but it wont open. Pretty sure there is clip inside but dont know exact location. Any help will be good.
@BR1GHT0NCH3MTRA1LZ2 - Sure - The insurance, MOT, servicing, Tax, Petrol and NOS would come to way over £1900 a year alone! not to mention cost of car and future speeding fines hehe! I went up CAT HILL in barnet/enfield which is pretty close to that with a back pack full of of BBQ (and instant BBQ) unaided 2 weeks ago! cost me 4p of power for 20 mile trip!In London I can beat any mode of transport hands down & NO CONGESTION OR PARKING :) plus i get more attention thay guys driving lambo's! :)
@smartebikeUK so can the A2B handle a 25degree hill with a heavy backpack full of shopping? unassisted? for about a mile? all these a2b bike videos are so lame. wheres the hardcore bike testers at?? oh and in about 18months daily use a new battery is £650!!! the GoCycles alot cheaper but still over priced.
A2B is £1900? but has cheap entry level groupset? I could get a decent car and run it on Nitrus Oxide for about as much.
Its a really nice bike! its the fastest electric bike on the market at the moment. I've got a bright orange one which draws lots of attention! If your looking for one in the UK, you can get one from ww w.smartebike. co.uk based in North London!
Be interesting to see the innards of the hub motor, maybe see the process of cracking it open and putting it back together for inspection and servicing. Be interested in seeing how to wire up an after market battery pack to it. a video on the process of changing the rear tire would be interesting too.
It would be nice to see the process of changing the lithium batteries in the frame. Also would be interesting to see how to tune up the A2B, possibly best procedures or alternative techniques on locking the bike up when in public settings.
