Golden Gate Halo - Day's End

Finally got around to recording a piece that came to me in a session of noodling. It's turned into a full piece. I call it Day's End.

This was recorded on my porch in El Cajon, CA on wonderful summer evening.

The Golden Gate is sweet. Tuning is (C) E G B C D F# G

The video was shot with a Canon T3i and the audio was captured on a Zoom H2. I compiled it in Garageband and iMovie.

i love it. the rhythms and the melodies are so wonderfully woven together. I've got a Golden Gate and will try to post some of mine soon. So flowing and easy. Beautiful. Hope you don't mind if i try to learn it!

I envy you! :) Haha! The truth is that I have enrolled in the list of Pantheon Steel Halo for a Golden Gate. I have no money and not even have warned me ... but I want to have it arrive the day. I love this instrument! Congratulations to you! :D
