where did u get this synth sound?

okay this might be embarrassing, but I used a basic Macintosh program called Garageband. Most people say it's crap and/or really basic. Which it seems at first, but if you know how to use the program it's pretty good. as first the instrument, I used something called a imperia pad, and put a bit crusher on it to give a really distorted sound. unfortunately things got a little messy, and the sound didn't come out as distorted or as clear as I'd have liked.
