I seriously doubt that any of the actors are proud of this movie. I see only 3 alternatives to why anyone would like to be a part of DBE.

1. Can't get another job.

However, in defense of my proud DBZ veteran status, I DO THINK everything in the movie's plot was just awful. Some of the scenes I've viewed over Youtube have shown no effort at all on the part of the actors, but that's subjective. James Marster had a "decent" Piccolo voice, and although Piccolo was snide and "cinema-like" I give credit to the fact that he AT LEAST was green, he also had the evil intentions and the chutzpa to get it done. And I like the change in Mai to a useful character.

You've also got to take into consideration that even now, some are JUST seeing the movie. I myself was not going to support the director or production by blowing hard-waited cash to go to the theater and watch a piece of crap like Evolutuion nor buy the DVD and get my unwanted "30 minutes of cast interviews and garbage few care about". I'm following as it is out of very mild interest for where they are taking it, unlike many paranoid Z fans, I actually think JM's Piccolo was a positive side.

If you're a true Dragonball fan then you won't want this movie, lulz.

The funny thing is, despite being a "softcore" childhood veteran of this series, Evolution annoyed me at first, but coming upon the release, I...it really didn't bother me anymore. Now,I just laugh everytime I see one of the movie's half-assed attempts at replicating something so legendary. Its not a disgrace, its like an embarrassing birthday everybody tries to forget about at the dinner table.

In an interview she sayed she admired Bulma because she was strong and independent. She obviously didn't read the Manga or read so little she got Bulma confused with Launch because she is not strong nor independent. She is spoiled, scared even when holding a gun, and tricked a 12 year old boy just for her own protection. I'm not saying Bulma doesn't get better but still.
