The country which we belong to- was always trying to invade the heart, mind and soul of every human being in the world through the prevailing integrative approach which she had adopted from the time immemorial, not by invading other countries physically. Loka samastha sughino bhavanthu, Vasudhaiva kudumbakam were the mantras emanating from here to the other worlds. . Through Jai Ho, we inmates of Azad Bhawan proudly submit all our stage programmes to our mothers and the motherland since "Janani Janma Bhoomischa Swargadapi Gareeyasi,"- the mother and the motherland are greater than even the heaven. This is an arpan to our motherland in the form of a dance. Here, the dancer through his dance humbly presents the richness of our music and dance forms. The dancer is going to present the seven dances and the two different syles of music of India. The order followed here- Hindusthani Music -Vocal and Instrumental , Kathak , Odissi , Manipuri dance,Kathakali , Mohiniattam , , Kuchipudi ,Bharata Natyam ,Carnatic Music Vocal and Instrumental . The background score is the famous Bhaje Sargam -which is one of Doordarshan's many gems with which we have grown. This one is a collaboration of the Indian maestros. Unity in Diversity is the message which the dancer is trying to picturise hereThis is one of the reasons why I am proud to be an Indian.
