Americas National Parks. They have been called our countrys greatest idea and a gift to the world. While Idaho doesnt have a national park entirely within its borders, the state does have several National Park Service sites. On this weeks Dialogue, host Joan Cartan-Hansen looks at those assets in Idaho and talks with three NPS Superintendants about the challenges facing these natural wonders and historical gems. Cartan-Hansen is joined by Doug Neighbor, Superintendant of Craters of the Moon National Monument; Wallace Keck, Superintendent of the City of Rocks National Reserve and Gary Somers, Superintendent Nez Perce National Historical Park. Viewers are encouraged to call in with their questions.

  • I love Craters of the Moon, its a very interesting place. I was there in 1996 when I bicycled across the USA. It was nice to see all that overhead video! The other parks look great too, I hope to see them someday. I never really noticed that Idaho didn't have a national park.

    Thanks for the video.
