the body is a shell. once the spirit has taken a new body, who cares how ppl get rid of the old one. im no enlightened master, but from what i gather, disposing of the body is about as significant as disposing of the deceased's old clothing. bury, burn, feed to the fishes, it's all the same--its just a shell.

Hi, What a beautiful description of non attachment, I never saw the direct connection with universal love before. Opens up for a new way of practicing.

Renounciation and compassion arnt contradictory but perfect harmony. Infact pure compassion couldnt exist without non attachment.
