Mr. Muni was the biggest star at WB during the 30's ahead of Bette Davis,
Errol Flynn, James Cagney, and Humphrey Bogart. After Muni left WB his star dimmed. Sadly forgotten now, his body of work in the 30's is amazing
Scarfare, Chain Gang, Zola, Louis Pasteur, Bordertown, Juarez. We Are Not Alone and loanout to MGM for The Good Earth with Ms. Rainer who won an Oscar for her portrayal. This clip is mislabeled. Elia Kazan is in the clip and this apparently is from an event in the 50's.

I don't understand... the title says "Paul Muni and Luise Rainer at the 1937 Academy Awards" yet the footage is of Steve Allen, Elia Kazan, with Mr. Muni popping up toward the end -- none of it from 1937 nor the Academy Awards...
