Members of the Lost Coast Chapter of the Traditional Small Craft Association were joined by the Noyo Harbor USCG for the second annual lighted boat parade in Noyo Harbor, Ca. Member, Jim McDannold was inspired by a similar parade viewed in Mexico, and decided to start a local parade in Noyo Harbor, Fort Bragg, Ca. Although Jim was the only entrant in the 2008 parade, this
year's parade was attended by members of the local United States Coast Guard, and Lost Coast members, Jim Swallow, Stan Halverson, Jim Blanton, and Dusty and Linda Dillon. The parade started at the World's End Rowing Club dock, the home of the local TSCA chapter, and proceeded up river to the Coast Guard station and back. Many restaurant and hotel patrons came out to enjoy the event and share in the spirit of Peace On Earth. Let's hope this is the beginning of a beautiful holiday tradition. The event was filmed by Todd Cinnamon, of Resonance in Design.
