This car and the the E92 3 Series Coupe are the only cars that Bangle designed well. All his other designs are trash.

Great designs are often controversial in the present and then hailed as revolutionary later. Not always. For me, I want to be surrounded by things that have an opinion about form and beauty- not just the summation of what's popular at this moment.

what a waste of a great opportunity. the 1 series looks so ubiquitous, so boring. they should have made it a retro design based off the e30 or the 2002tii. what a piece of crap design, no wonder they're not selling as projected.

1 series looks so much better in person. For some reason it's very difficult to take a decent picture of it.
