150 contemporary artists reinterpret Millet's Angelus to commemorate the 150th anniversary of this monument of French painting, precursor of impressionism. The exhibit runs all summer in three locations in the town of Barbizon, one hour out of Paris, in the forest of Fontainebleau -- where the work originated. Warmest thanks to Nancy & François Brunot for a lovely opening weekend.
