From his 1975 album For Earth Below.

Lyrics:
Theres a time, for living
And a time for love
Theres a time, for forgiving, yall
And a time to shove
Ohh theres more, won then lost
More hoping here to spare
And its waiting, waiting
Don't ya spend your whole life hesitating
Come and tell the truth
Shame the devil
Theres more, light then dark
Honey shining down on you
More despair, then what you got
And baby you'll need the truth
This whole world, has had enough
Of people giving up
And its waiting, waiting
Don't you spend your whole life hesitating
Come on tell the truth
Shame the devil
And its waiting, waiting
Don't spend your whole life hesitating
Come on tell the truth
Shame the devil
Don't you know that its waiting, ah waiting
Don't you spend your whole life hesitating
Come on, let loose
Shame the devil

  • @BilgeNik I first heard Bridge of Sighs in the late 70's and it is one of my favourite albums of all time. I think Trower's playing is awesome, but a lot of people I talk to have never heard of him. He must be more famous in the United States than he is here in the UK , that's all I can think. It just shows that talent and worldwide fame are not the same thing, sorry to say.

  • @conkeroonee That might depend on how ancient one his! He was as hot a ticket as anyone in the '70's. Bridge of Sighs was spinning at every party I ever went to back then and he played many sold out arena and stadium shows. Timeless talent and I'm glad you get to enjoy his playing now whether a recent discovery for you or just reminiscing! So much good music then!!!!

  • When is this guy touring again in the United States? He is on my list of people to see in concert. The list is small:Van Halen,(already have tickest for VH ) Joe Satriani and the king Robin.

  • I can never get enough of Trower, I LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just love this one!!!

  • Best guitar hero no-one ever heard of.

  • Robin could always come up with these soulful riffs! Even now at his age he can still wail.
