Are Lions Lazy?

The lion (Panthera leo) is often looked at as a lazy animal since it is known to sleep most of the day. But are they really a lazy animal? Lions are usually seen by tourist in the afternoon hours where they are taking a brake from the heat by resting. Most of their activities occur at night. Even when resting they still move from spot to spot in their large territories which recently have been getting smaller due to their shrinking habitats.
Why and how humans and animals sleep is still being researched. Animals vary greatly from the amounts of sleep they receive and how they get it.

The reason they sleep for 20 hrs a day is because they are so efficient at hunting large animals they CAN sleep 20 hrs a day.

I you could get ALL your work done, clean, drink, eat etc in 4 hours wouldnt you relax for 20hrs? I would.
