how many people before voting looked at what shaped obama's character... a past riddled with marxism and pure hatred for limited government, free enterprise, liberty, and the american way... i would venture to say that too many people voted solely because of color... i would also venture to say that those people missed the point about character vs color (either that or they enjoy socialism... a lot)

Dang, that guy at the end just changed my view. That was the wisest political commentary I've heard in a long time. He is offering a solution and being realistic and optimistic at the same time -something not much associated with political commentary of today, or any age really. That was inspirational.
Chris Matthews probably wouldn't realize that guy was black if he heard him, but then again Matthews wouldn't agree with him, but say he is a tool of white racists.
