The Fungus Amungus

In our video we wished to explore Kingdom Fungi in all its glory. After going through the various unique features of fungus, we narrowed in on how they obtain their nutrients through Extracellular Digestion from Symbiotic Relationships. We went further to describe these two types of relationships fungi have with unrelated species; parasitic and beneficial. Since the parasitic relationship, like mold, is so prevalent, we went into more detail about the relationship that 90% of plant species are involved in. Through pictures and detailed explanation we described the fungus-root beneficial relationship that truly highlights just one example of the beauty that are fungal symbiotic relationships. Please take note of the accompanying background music in our video. We put much effort into finding these two very appropriate songs, which lyrics exemplify the popularity and importance of fungi in our everyday lives.
