In the summer of 2005, an Exploratorium crew ventured to the Kamchatka peninsula in Far Eastern Russia to document the work of scientists studying the microbiology and geology of the region. These brown bears, munching on the wild blueberries that surrounded the scientists' campground, were daily visitors.www.exploratorium.edu/kamchatka/

It's The Valley of Geysers or Uzon caldera. There are many bears wherever in Kamchatka.
