@kingstontrio 'Hungry i' album was classic. Your joy and enthusiasm for your work was what did it for me. Used to listen to Merry Minuet over and over as a kid - until my brother got mad at me. Saw the trio about 10 or so years ago in Richmond, VA. Nick was there but not singing. Best wishes Michael

Did the the original three -Dave Gard, Nick Reynolds and Bob Shane- do the song back in the late 50s or early 60s? I think I remember hearing it way, way back when I was in middle or high school (but maybe I'm just having a senior moment).

Yep, you're right. Dave, Nick and I did it in the early sixties. It was on our album "from the Hungry i." Bob Shane

It is Bill Zorn, no stranger to the Kinsgston Trio. He was a member in the 1970's. He was replaced by George Grove, (left,) who has been with them ever since, 33 yrs. When Bob Shane gave up travelling in 2004, Bill came back and brought Rick Dougherty (right,) with him.

Well, I doubt that they are still singing nowadays. It's probably playback.
