Baby Birds in Nest

Do you know what kind of birds these are?

My guess is they're Catbirds.

They built a nest right outside my front door, atop one of the columns. I enjoyed occasionally peeking at the parents feeding the young.

Yup, that's a parent taking a poop-packet from the young birds at about 4:55, 6:20 and 6:40. I never knew they did that. Good diaper service!

Sadly, about 10 days after I shot this, I awoke to find some animal had gotten the nest. The whole thing was gone - just some twigs, fuzz, and a few feathers left. No blood though, so maybe they were strong enough to fly to safety.
