  • @Johaneeeek He doesn't, the right notes land on him

Neville is a pretty ok guitarist, pretty average. The reason he made a name for himself is he used his Editorship at Guitarist Magazine to further himself.."Respeceted" by the likes of you who probably cant play very well maybe, but not by real guitarists that has put in the practise and reached a decent level. By the way, playing guitar is not a team based effort, but a really personal and individualistic pursuit. Your "coach" bla bla bla just seems ridiculous.

  • music just flows from him all the time it seems

  • such an amazing guitarist..

You're not seeing the truth. Whilst learning music theory helps people explore their instrument, it is not the only way to attain musical greatness. At the end of the day, music is about what we hear, you don't have to know music theory to appreciate sound, you just have to use your ears. Music theory is a tool to get you where you want to be, it is not the end goal in itself.

  • Govan o melhor de todos os tempos!!!!

  • @Johaneeeek He plays since he was 3 years old. His ears, his brain and his fingers function at the same level.

  • @freaknbigpanda The whole point, was as a guitar player. Look at John petrucci. He is amazing with his band, and he is amazing by himself also. Slash cant do that, because he is not that great... And you are telling me to broaden my horizon, which is funny because you are talking about a guitar player who is a one trick pony. Man I bet it sucks not being able to use even 10 percent of your brain.

  • @freaknbigpanda What are you talking about you moron. The whole point was , AS A GUITARIST. As a guitarist he is not good. He may be ok as a guitarist for guns n roses, but even then not so much.... And yes, I do base how more theory and technicality one has, because that judges their heart, and soul they put into it, and their god given gift. If someone doesn't know theory, or is even remotely technical, then they clearly didn't care that much about their chosen instrument...

  • @tastefulphrasing Well what the hell do you even mean away from GNR, you mean the biggest part of someones career you just dismiss that? That was fucking way better then just watching any guitar virtuoso play. You base guitar players just on how technical they play? You really need to broaden your taste for what makes music not just how much someone knows about music theory and how they can apply it to the guitar. Making music has nothing to do with how much you know, it's what you feel.
