Shanghai, like most of China can either be a fantastic experience, or the worst experience of your life, I'm going to fill you in on some of the common and not so common scams / cons / tricks and nonsense, from silly to downright dangerous, Armed with this knowledge you should be able to avoid most of the pitfalls this city (and many other Chinese cities) can throw at you.
