Built by Alco in 1910 and converted to diesel- electric operation, now a static display along with one of the last steam rotaries, UP #900076. Maxwell Siding is open Saturdays 10-3.

  • ... that thing is too noisy.

  • It's old iron, it is supposed to be noisy

  • Were does it spit the snow out?

  • they forgot to show you all the broken windows from kids throwing rock at them,and there are two trains there

  • broken windows were an additional $5 fee for the tour. I felt driving around Hermiston, one should throw rocks into the blades of the rotary to cut down on gang-bangers.
