The Codex Alimentarius only regulates foods sold BETWEEN NATIONS, NOT WITHIN NATIONS.

Ask the USDA about this.

I have participated personally in Codex Alimentarius sessions and I can tell you THE AMERICAN DELEGATE constantly reminded everyone else that IF A PRODUCT IS TRADED ONLY WITHIN A COUNTRY, NO CODEX ALIMENTARIUS DOCUMENT IS NEEDED.

Regulations can be a good thing. International regulations can help to make trade a more even field for every country and protect people in each country.
