Tanya's very feminine voice backed with the wall of noise from her powerful band is beautiful, and kind of scary at times, which I love.

As much as I love and respect Jimi, Tanya has had a far bigger influence on my own music, in terms of songwriting, arrangement, and guitar playing. And let's face it, what sounds more interesting, a band that's influenced by Belly or yet another Jimi-influenced affair? Tanya might not have the most amazing chops in the world, but she has more than proved herself as an excellent and inventive guitarist in her own right, though Belly isn't the best example of that. This cover is a joy.
