  • I actually prefer this over the original version.

And now here comes the inevitable 9000 thumbs down from rabid FFVI fanbois just because my opinion differs from theirs.

  • I suddenly want to suplex a train

  • MUTHAFUCKA SUPLEXED A TRAIN!!!

  • @Quadunit404 Here's my opinion. I can see why someone could prefer this version, as it is more modern. I prefer the original, because of the better sound quality and heavier sounding instruments.

  • @SPS148669 Audio nerd much?

  • @Quadunit404

    Ha, haha, irony.

  • @Demonhornz gay.

  • @mrnuage

When it comes to streamed Audio (Not Wavetable Synthesis) I thought both the N64 and DS struggled with lowbit rate audio because of small cartridge space compared to the high capicity disks on PS1/PSP. I hope the upcomming 3DS inherits the Macronix Audio DSP from Gamecube/Wii and combined with the much larger 2 Gigabyte Cartridges it should FINALLY give us deep sounding 16 bit 48KHZ sound on a Nintendo Handheld for the first time.
