Sonic Adventure 2 - Cosmic Wall - m1 - All rings (479/479)

This was originally going to come out much sooner, but let's just say the level itself paled in difficulty compared to getting the soundtrack up to par with the precedent set back in the CC4 realtime run. Personally I think the leftover game SFX still sound horrible. It didn't help that my Dreamcast died about 2 minutes after I finished getting what I thought I needed from the sound test. (Emphasis on "thought".)

Not much to say about it, except that Dreamcast really gets hosed in this level. If you try this route on GameCube, it yields a 527 because there are extra rings and balloons in the shaft ascents. Also, if it's somehow possible to break out at the entrance to rail ride 2 (something I've never been able to do), the maximum increases to 484 DC/532 GC, but otherwise this is as good as it gets.

do you skip the rings at the start just to make sure wen u get hit u wont need to start over?

No, I skip them because otherwise my ring count would be too high to get the rewards I want upon arriving at checkpoints. Once you get to 21 rings, there's no way to pick them all up after a hit, so that won't help to avoid a restart.

98.5% of this stage is Eggman hovering lol. That is, if you take the short cut passed the plat form places.

Simple--they just set the out-of too low by 16 rings. It doesn't matter which ones; as long as you miss 15 or less you're in good shape.

I was wondering when I'd see from you again! And this video was so worth the wait! I always enjoy watching you break out at the rail stations! And the ending was awesome! Final stretch, 50 rings left, miss a bubble and you have to do the whole thing ALL over again! And nice use of Sonic CD music! You are awesome! Keep it up!
