@thesame4all--You don't know what you're talking about. :-) SHOD horses can get the branches of their shoes caught in the mesh, but BAREFOOT horses cannot. The holes are 1.5". The top is closed with hardware, which replaces the dangerous string. It is hung low intentionally as it is more natural for horses, as they are made to graze, not eat like giraffes.

So dangerous....they can get their feet stuck in the net. Much better to put it higher.
