after freni and a real great lyric/ dramatic in the opera house in Wuerzburg Germany, she's the 3rd best soprano I heard in this role. btw thanks for these contests

Both the Freni and Isokoski performances are the same productions from Paris 26 years apart. I saw this wonderful singer in Der Rosenkavalier at the ROH last year and she was fantastic. Such a great Straussian voice. Hopefully an Elsa to come?

Soile is so classy! But goodness gracious, why did they give her such a small mirror? It looks like a compact! Hahaha
Nevertheless, watched all of them with my Bose headphones. Depends on the sound quality, but I like this and (although generally can't stand her) Gheorghiu the best besides SCOTTO who was just stunningly beautiful in this beyond words!

What a hauntingly beautiful voice! And Soile Isokoski doesn't act half as bad as some think. Not everyone needs to be a poser. She certainly is not, but she is a good actress too. Most important for her is the music, something I really like.
