I dont understand you average americans do nothing serious that actually changes anything stopping the decline in your standards of living.

In Europe they went to the streets several times until the changes benefiting them were implemented, not changes benefiting private enterprises like Obama bullshit health care plan

and also in Europe grant it there was a better Trade Union Movement and that did benefit workers in regard to Labour Laws but those conditions are not perfect and are and do decline so comparing both I do not think is even relevant for the said posted video - and most of Europe does have private health care grant it nothing to the scale of USA but I do not think there is a point in getting into an arguement I think you need to listen to the video again lol and then can discuss.

but my phrase is very relevant to what Noam is saying because average americans did not act to force The Reagan Adminstration to enforce labor laws. That is a constant problem with average americans, they are the majority and that can be very powerful, but they dont use that power.

I agree the majority can be powerful but the minority have that control and even if the people did protest against the system the would be met with brute force and if could say that about any nation just look at Lisbon Treaty in Europe the majority did not want it but still put through, so cant generalise with just one nation it is how the capitalist system works

I disagree that the majority coulnt put down this brute force. The majority might have to use very ugly tatics which I could describe only if you want me to inform you of it but they would defeat the brute force. I have seen it done all over the world. It just happened in a simple example in France where the people went to the streets and force the repeal of the Contract Premier Embauch, First Work Contract laws that were passed. Remember what US workers did in the 30 and 40's

Obiwan knows the difference between who elected him and who financed him. He gave his investors their return on their investment already. Now, if the people organized MASSIVELY, US still has a democratic structure even though it does not function as such, they should start voting in offices politicians that support their interests. It is a wish of mine that has low probability as most americans dont understand US economics but it could remotely happen that Obiwan does what they want
