'Just The Way You Are' Bruno Mars Cover: Guitar - Adam Lee

I loved the melody in this, and thought it might be interesting to do an all-guitar cover of this. Every part in this arrangement is guitar - there are no other instruments involved.

I see you are using the THD Hot Plate in the background. How much volume and gain do you set on the amp to get that saturated tone? Plus, is it very loud when the tone comes out of the speakers?

The reason I'm bugging about this is cause i had a DSL 100, and I'm thinking about getting the hot plate to attenuate the amp a little bit.

@RazorAceYU Hey there - yes, for this video, I used a DSL-50 with a hotplate. And it is set to about 7 out of 10, but I only use a little bit of attenuation (-8 dB I think), as any more than that seems to affect the tone. So yes, the volume that comes out of the speakers is extremely loud haha. But I have the cab in a separate room, isolated as well as possible, and lifted off the ground, so the sound is pretty well controlled. The poor mic gets the brunt of it. :-) Hope that helps! :-)
