Joe Germaine at QB, who finished in the Heisman voting, and a tandem of Montgomery and Michael Wiley in the backfield, plus a fantastic D that didn't allow more than 30 points all season. But what proves that this team would have crushed anyone is that they beat a very good Michigan team, with Tom Brady at the helm. When John Cooper was head coach, they lost to Michigan ten times. If they were good enough to overcome Cooper's ineptitude against Michigan, they could beat anyone.

OSU had Katzenmoyer, Antoine Winfield, David Boston, Michael Wiley, etc. They had WAY more talent than that shit UT team. 4 first round draft picks started on this OSU team, with like 15 guys drafted. OSU would have beaten FSU or UT by 3TDs in 98.

UT had John Henderson, Al Wilson, and Peerless Price along with Tee Martin and Bryson and Travis Henry NFL talent galore the most talented team other than 92 Alabama in terms of defense. They woudl have killed OSU just like Lswho and Florida did in 06 and 08

@rapiddominace - what's up man.. well, I'm definitely happy lol. the win vs oregon was definitely huge. prob our best game since the 42-39 win vs Michigan in 2006. i would love to see a few bcs wins like that in a row. definitely finished the season on a high note!
